Oculus Lubricant has a world-class blending plant located at Karachi, Pakistan. The Plant, set-up in the year 1995, has state-of-the art PLC-controlled blending facilities and also houses a Quality Control laboratory. The plant’s quality system was first certified with ISO 9001 quality management system in the year 1997 and has updated to ISO 9001:2015. The plant has also certified its quality systems with ISO/ Technical Specification 16949:2009 since 2014 and upgraded it to International Automotive Task Force, IATF 16949:2016 since 2018.
The Quality Control Lab at Oculus Lubricant caters to not only the Pakistan business, but also supports Gulf’s worldwide operations. The Lab is equipped with the latest instruments and is manned by highly skilled technicians for testing a wide range of products, such as Engine Oils, Gear & Transmission Oils, Industrial Lubricants, Metal Working Fluids, Rust Preventives, Marine Oils, Coolants, Brake Fluids, etc. These tests are carried out in accordance with the Bureau of Indian Standards (B.I.S.), American Society for Testing and Materials (A.S.T.M.) and other Global Standards.
